Anteris Manage: Network Optimization

Network optimization provides the proactive elements of Anteris Manage. Below are two examples of the differences between the old (broken) reactionary model, and Anteris Manage:

Hard Drive Failure

  • The Broken Model: You arrive in the office to find your computer simply displaying, for example, “Inaccessible Boot Device.” Your support technician arrives later that day (or perhaps the next day) and reports that your hard drive has failed. (The meteoric growth in the data recovery industry indicates you are now probably another statistic!) Many lost files and several expensive technician hours later you are up and running—in the best case.
  • Anteris Manage: Your hard drive reports an error to your proactive IT provider’s monitoring system that indicates your drive is failing. Instantly an urgent support request is sent to your assigned technician who makes an exact duplicate of your files and settings to a replacement hard drive. No files are lost, and you experience a mere 30 minutes of down-time.

Spyware Infestation

  • The Broken Model: You have the latest and greatest antivirus program, and you are browsing the Internet with confidence. Strangely, your computer becomes progressively and agonizingly slower. You call your support technician, who arrives a day or two later to report your computer is infected with the latest and greatest spyware, malware, and viruses! Because these infestations were permitted to continue manifesting themselves over days or weeks, your computer must be rebuilt, at a cost of several expensive technician hours.
  • Anteris Manage: The monitored antivirus system traps a spyware threat as it is arrives at your computer, and alerts your assigned technician. Without ever intruding on your work day, the technician removes the threat before it is able to impose further damage on your system. You are whistling a happy tune.
